For right now I'll just answer a frequently asked question...
What the heck is Poit, anyway?
poit! is one of several exclamations made by Pinky. His other three MAIN exclamations were narf, zort and egad (along with some rare ones kept up as a running gag).

...and why did I pick the name?
Way back in the days of the original Quake (a game, in case you didn't know) I was fairly good and frequently set my name to a null string (which, due to a bug, removed my name from the highscores). Mainly I did it to keep the other people from leaving. Aaaaaanyway, they fixed the bug so I was forced to pick a name (or go by the default name). For some reason I decided on pinky's exclamations and toyed with all of them (poit, narf, zort, troz, egad and fjord)...switching back and forth several times...before I finally settled on poit.

...also, if you know me from some OTHER places on the net...you'll notice that I sometimes go by poitsplace. Obviously...I use that name because of this website...and the domain.
